HUGH - Really just one of the dogs himself. Prime care-giver and decision-maker. The dogs rely on him just as much as he relies on them which is why such a deep bond develops between them during the race.

BLAZE - A quiet guy in the yard who becomes one of the loudest on the trail. A good leader with lots of heart. I think he's finished every race he's started.
SHYELA - One of the oldest on the team with the most experience. One of our original leaders. Her name says it all. She's very shy, slides around the yard like a fox, but runs like hell at the scent of another team ahead of her.

MAHOOSIC - Another dependable hard working male that gives his all every time he runs. Has a loud, threatening bark in the yard but is a pussy cat on the couch. Likes to frighten photographers on the trail.
TITAN - A young male from Lance Mackey. Good team dog that's always there. Been trying his hand at leading occasionally as well.

DARKIE - A prized sprint dog from Lester Erhart. This was his first year doing distance races. An amazing leader. Part wolf. Loads of potential for next year.

BLONDIE - A young, spirited leader that we got last spring. Her first year doing distance racing. She would have went all the way to Nome except that being in heat she was getting a bit distracted by all the men around her.
DOZER - Will pull a hook every time the team stops. Seems to never tire. Full of attitude. Hates dog boxes and has chewed up most of the doors on our truck. Because of this he gets to ride in the cab everywhere we go.

SNOW - We just got Snow early this year; former sprint dog. Happy guy, always smiling. We expect great things for him next year.
MOJO - This race was in your memory. Your presence was carried in our hearts along the trail to Nome. We wished you could make another trip but alas, our time together was cut short. We miss you Mojo.
